Abu Bakr ibn al-Arabi, Islamic theologian from Seville.

5 leaves from a larger vellum MS of commentary on Hadith. The colophon of this manuscript states it to have been written in Seville in 523 AH (AD 1129) by a named scribe. Two colour plates in catalogue at pp. 42-43. The description lists other Peninsular Islamic MSS recently appearing at auction (2017-18; p. 42).

Estimate: £10,000-15,000.
